CREER collaborates with the Office of the Ombudsman of Colombia<\/a> to strengthen its Business and Human Rights agenda, through a formal process of institutional ownership and integration of tools, standards, and capacities to ensure the effective protection and respect of human rights.<\/p>

This work reflects the Ombudsman\u2019s strong commitment to both national and international agendas\u2014especially following the unanimous adoption of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) by the UN Human Rights Council in 2011.<\/p>

The project was carried out between 2016 and 2020 as part of a cooperation initiative between the Office of the Ombudsman, CREER, and the German Institute for Human Rights.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
