On March 13 and 14, we participated in the Colombia–Germany Binational Forum “Transforming the Energy Future”, held in the city of Barranquilla. There, our Executive Director, Jose Fernando Gómez, co-led a panel on “Knowledge as a Catalyst for the Energy Transformation,” thanks to our partnership with CERFER LATAM.
At CREER, we have been advancing our workstream on Critical Minerals and Renewable Energy, through which we are contributing to the preparedness of territories so that a transition pathway can materialize with a territorial and rights-based approach.
Throughout five thematic areas, from technological innovation to financing mechanisms, the Forum reaffirmed the binational commitment to a sustainable energy future, connecting international experience with Colombia’s potential to drive innovative decarbonization solutions.
Our thanks to CERFER and the Government of Atlántico for the invitation to be part of this important space. We will continue working toward the goal of contributing to the construction of a just and efficient energy transition.
