Agronomist from the National University of Colombia and holder of a Master’s degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering from National Taiwan University, with 12 years of experience managing projects related to sustainable agriculture, agricultural extension, agri-risk management, and multifunctional landscapes. His work has included agricultural land evaluation and zoning, as well as contributions to the development of information systems for agri-risk management (SIGRA) and monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) systems for zero deforestation and environmental degradation.

He has led regenerative agriculture initiatives at the landscape level and precision agriculture efforts within the agribusiness sector. Additionally, he has worked on capacity-building processes for producer associations in business management and the adoption of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
