Biologist and ecologist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity at the same institution. Her academic background combines a scientific foundation with an applied focus on sustainability and participatory environmental management. She has worked as a local coordinator in conservation and research processes, supporting on-the-ground actions in various regions of Colombia.
She has experience facilitating community spaces, designing and implementing participatory workshops, as well as conducting environmental education activities and collecting biological and social data.
Her approach integrates rigorous research work with a deep understanding of the local context, aiming to strengthen processes of environmental governance, socio-ecological justice, and biodiversity conservation.
