Independent consultant with over 25 years of experience in the prevention and management of socio-environmental conflicts, particularly those related to extractive industries and infrastructure projects, especially in the oil and mining sectors.
He holds a degree in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Universidad de los Hemisferios. He has worked on numerous cases of socio-environmental conflict management involving local communities, governments, and industry across Latin America. He has served as a consultant for projects with the World Bank, UNDP, WWF, The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and several mining companies.
