On April 2nd, we were present in the city of Montería, participating in the Forum “Focusing on Córdoba: Mining and Energy Cluster for Development”, organized by Caribe Potencia Energética. Our Executive Director, Jose Fernando Gómez, took part in a TED Talk on “Sociopolitical Challenges for Energy Development.”
During his presentation, Jose Fernando highlighted the importance of defining criteria for advancing a just energy transition, as well as the need to identify the dilemmas that the department of Córdoba may face in this regard. The objective is to ensure that these challenges do not lead to polarization or conflict, but rather serve as an opportunity to shape a roadmap for harmonious development.
We thank Caribe Potencia Energética and the Government of Córdoba for the invitation to this event. We remain committed to continuing our participation in spaces and conversations where we can contribute our knowledge and experience to the advancement of a just energy transition.
